Protecting your information: Storage, Security and types of information kept

For the purposes of service provision and record-keeping. I protect my information using several methods. Digital files are stored on my computer and in a personal cloud, ensuring only I can access them through my devices with secure passwords, PINs, or fingerprint/facial recognition. Paper copies are kept locked away in a cabinet. All records, both digital and physical, are deleted after three years.

The secure database containing your personal information. This includes, but is not limited to, your name, contact details, payment history, and contractual agreements. Furthermore, I retain records of information shared during consultations, encompassing details such as family context, symptom descriptions, well-being assessments, established goals, desired outcomes, and agreed-upon action plans

 

What I do with the information we have

 

 

I only use the information I collect about you to support the services I am providing for you, and for administrative reasons.

I will only provide your information to others if you give your permission, or if I am legally to inform the authorities if there is a possibility that you or a member of the public is at risk.

Parts of our conversation may be referred to during supervision, a requirement for registered therapists, although your name or any identifying details would not be disclosed.

Under Data Protection Law, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing of, object to processing of, and request portability of your personal data. To exercise these rights, please contact me. Requests will be processed within one month.
